The Trevor Project
The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) young people ages 13-24.
Speaking of Suicide
A website created by Dr. Stacey Freedenthal, a psychotherapist and university professor in Metro Denver. She built “Speaking of Suicide” as a site for suicidal individuals and their loved ones, survivors, mental health professionals, and “the merely curious.”
American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
This is an organization that sponsors the “Out of Darkness” walks around the U.S. The AFSP website presents information about suicide, how to prevent suicide, advice for those coping with a death by suicide, as well as info about other awareness and fundraising activities.
